Do You Speak Women’s Rights?

As the 8th of March is the International Women’s Rights Day, people around the world, women and men, speak up and acknowledge the fact that women’s rights are human rights.

This video was created by ACTEDO as a follow-up to the below video (Do You Speak Human Rights?) and it presents the 16 most important articles of The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), often described as an international bill of rights for women.

This video is meant to be used as a human rights education tool, to raise awareness and educate young people about the importance and power of women’s rights. It can also be used as a starting point for human rights debates in schools or other groups.
