Case #104: Pregnancy discrimination in the workplace

Vulnerable group: women

Human rights area: labour law

A new case was taken over through The Pro Bono Human Rights Network. The case it is about a lady who was fired immediately after she declared that she was pregnant. The lady was physically and verbally assaulted by the employer and was pressured by him to sign the resignation request.

The lady complained to ITM but she sought leagal advice to find out what steps she should take to prove the abusive dismissal.

The case was taken over by the lawyer Anamaria Cretu (Bihor Bar) to whom we thank and wish a lot of success in solving the case!
