A new case was taken over through The Pro Bono Network for Human Rights. The applicant is a lady whose sister died two years ago, leaving two minor children: a girl from her first marriage, whom she has in her care by court order, and a boy from a cohabiting relationship, who is in her father's care. The relationship between the sister and the boyfriend has always been strained, and after the death of the sister, the boyfriend used to go home under the influence of alcohol and cause trouble, and did the same when her sister was alive. She collected audio and video evidence and the minor's father is now under criminal investigation for ill-treatment of the minor. She has asked for our help to take legal action in court to seek access to the child, as she is worried about the child.
The case was taken over by lawyer Silvia Pirsan (Bucharest Bar) to whom we thank and wish a lot of success in solving the case!
