Mr G. is retired and finds himself at risk of not being able to cover subsistence expenses, as he has no income. His two sons refuse to help him, although they have the financial means to do so. Based on the provisions of the New Civil Code, parents and children have an obligation to provide for each other, which gives Mr. G hope that he may find a solution to his problem and secure decent living conditions through legal action.
