Ioana Tuță is an international affairs professional with expertise on human rights advocacy and diplomacy, and civil society organizations and modes of action. She previously worked in the International Advocacy Programme of Amnesty International in London and Geneva, and the Treaty Division of the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.

She holds a Master degree in Political Science from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva where she currently pursues a doctoral degree.

Her hobbies include hiking, dancing, going to film festivals and wandering in bookshops. iulia

Iulia Pascu is specialized in community development and gender equality, having over three years experience in project management. For one year she has worked at the European Institute for Gender Equality, an EU agency based in Vilnius, where she collected and analyzed data on gender based-violence and significantly contributed to the final report on sexual violence against women in the EU. She also has experience in coordinating non-formal education programs for youth, while volunteering for the international youth organization AEGEE.

Iulia holds a MA in Gender Studies and a MPA in Community Development, from Babes-Bolyai University, in collaboration with Michigan State University, USA. Among her passions are traveling, painting, history, hiking and live concerts.

Adela Dumbrăvan is a human rights professional with major interests in European law and public international law, conflict prevention, and civil society participation in decision-making processes. She holds a BA in Law from the Babeş-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and is a graduate of the Erasmus Mundus MA in Human Rights Practice, offered jointly by Roehampton University (UK), University of Gothenburg (Sweden) and Tromsø University (Norway).

Adela has gained legal experience as a lawyer-linguist in the European Parliament and has previously worked with the Romanian Peace Institute (PATRIR) and the Overseas Development Institute’s European Development Cooperation Strengthening Programme. Her passions include ballroom dancing, travelling, reading and discovering new cultures and identities.

Ale2Alexandra Columban is a human rights and gender equality advocate, with experience in promoting and strengthening civil society through her work in youth and student organizations, among which AEGEE and AIESEC. She has sound knowledge in both formal and non-formal education, as well as intercultural skills obtained while studying and/ or working as a teacher in Germany, Norway and Brazil. Alexandra’s interest in civic involvement is complemented by her propensity for academic research, mostly in the area of history of ideas, gender and literary studies. She is a certified translator (for Romanian, English and Norwegian) and so far has translated several novels from English to Romanian for national printing houses.

Alexandra holds a bachelor degree in International Relations and European Studies, as well as one in Norwegian and English Language and Literature and she is currently pursuing her master in Comparative Literature and History of Ideas at Babeş-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. Traveling, exploring other cultures, reading and learning new languages are among her biggest passions.
